Welcome to the newest website and design for Earth2ocean. Once again, the hackers have been into the server and left a nasty trail of trojans, so I've been busily creating a new look site, and soon it will be time to train Gravy to use it. I'm dreading when he comes back from annual leave - I know it'll take a good two or three hours to retrain the beast!
Still, I know he shall return with news of the deep blue sea... he's gone a-diving, as if he'd do anything else on his two week holiday, eh? I would have sent him a text demanding to know what the state of the ocean was up North, but unfortunately I can't do that right now either - since we were burgled the other night and the bastards stole my cellphone. It'll have to wait.
They say it never rains but it pours. Whoever the hell they are, they just might be right. Summer's almost gone my friends, and Autumn is beckoning with a frighteningly chilly finger. If it's diving you want, and you've been putting it off - I wouldn't hold out much longer if I were you. It's going to be one of those years when we get a nice sunny weekend followed by an icy blast that just won't quit! I can tell.
For those of you who didn't hear the news, Chris thoroughly enjoyed his last trip away for the weekend on the Mantra. At least, it was supposed to be a weekend away... ended up they decided a couple more days wasn't going to make any difference. Damn, I wish they'd told me - might've kept the grey hair at bay a little longer and the blood pressure down.
The next round of youth trips is in the process of being planned though, so if your teen divers have nothing better to do, now is good to make the booking. Get in touch with either the Mt Underwater Club Captain, Russ, or Chris here at the shop. Should be fun!
You'll notice a couple of missing pages on the site (mainly the Dive Gear page), but don't panic - they're on their way. Time... time... give me more time. If you're looking for gear in the meantime, I'm afraid you'll have to come in and see me or Chris. Alternatively, head on over to splash.co.nz and check out their offerings - we're the local dealer for them, so let us know if we can help.
Dive trips? No problem. Take a look on the dive charters page for the calendar, and we'll soon have the trips of the local operators on there too. If you are one of the operators - get in touch and let us know when you're running!
That's it for now - for more of Gravy's regular news you're just going to have to wait patiently 'til he gets back on the 8th of March. I know he'll have a story or two to tell - that's just Gravy! Hang in there...
For now - ciao!
Rachel
