The weather for the weekend is looking pretty dam fine. A slight swell is predicted under half a metre. with winds around 10 knots from the southern region. We haven't had a weekend forecast like this for a while so gear up and get out to your favorite spot.
I would expect the visibility on the western side of Motiti to be a little stirred up after that blow but move around a little to the north side if you want a little cleaner conditions. Do watch out for female cray as they can be in soft shell till around may. The swell at present is average 0.4 mtr and the temperature is 18.9 degrees.

Recently I was in the police fishing competition and there main beneficiary for the 3 day event was a local organization giving people with a variety of mental and physical disabilities the opportunity to experience salt water activities.
