The weather for the weekend doesn’t look too bad. There is no real swell except what will be generated by the gusting Southwesters that are forecast for the weekend. Sunday morning will be the best time to head out but the swell will be messy the further away from shore you are. There will be a fairly cold breeze out there but the rain should hold back until late Sunday so aim for Karewa, Rabbit or the eastern side of Motiti Island and you should be all good.
The water temp in the harbor has plummeted to 15.2 degrees which is disturbing; normally you could expect 1 or 2 degrees warmer out at sea.
I have posted another charter on the Earth2ocean calendar for 9th of June. This is a deep dive on the Taioma Wreck so you will need to be an Advanced diver to book for this dive. Check online for more details.
