Earth2ocean is committed to making a difference - globally, nationally, in our local community and throughout the Pacific Rim. Below are some of the ways in which we support other groups and organisations to serve our communities and planet.
If you know of an organisation that could use some support, feel free to leave their details in in our WebLinks section for our users to browse as they find projects they may be interested in supporting. To prevent your organisation from being spammed, we do not recommend leaving an email address. Leave a website contact instead.
For viewers wanting to support worthwhile projects like these, you may either contact the organisation directly or get in touch with us here at Earth2ocean. Some organisations may have 'wishlists', items they are needing that you can donate - please leave them at the shop or send them directly to the group listed using their contact details.
Thank you for supporting these worthwhile groups as they help to save our communities, our planet and our oceans.

OceansWatch is a New Zealand based charity that operates in the Pacific, running marine conservation projects and offering humanitarian aid to coastal communities. Earth2Ocean supports OceansWatch with the donation of snorkeling gear for the islands to monitor reefs in the Pacific. We would like to set up a program to run a small wishlist for OceansWatch in Tauranga, and we need a co-ordinator. If you are interested in supporting this work throughout the Pacific from NZ, please contact us at Earth2Ocean.

Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. Their mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.
Sea Shepherd uses innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately-balanced ocean ecosystems, Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations.

Blue Light is a Police initiative designed to reduce the incidence of young people becoming an offender or victim of crime, and encourage better relations between the police, young people, their parents and the community. This is achieved by organising and running a variety of supervised cultural, social, sporting and educational activities in an environment free from alcohol, drugs and violence. Blue Light aims to assist the Police achieve its policing objectives by providing pro-active initiatives to meet a key target market. It does this by providing young people with positive lifestyle alternatives and strategies to avoid becoming an offender or victim of crime.
Blue Light programmes and activities include sporting, cultural, educational, community and crime reduction. There are currently 63 branches of Blue Light throughout New Zealand. Each year over 200,000 young people and their families are involved in Blue Light programs either directly or indirectly. Although the Police and community support Blue Light through the delivery of 'man-hours' the actual costs of programmes are met by donations and sponsorship.
Earth2Ocean sponsors part of the cost of putting groups of kids who are proving themselves to be valuable members of our community through scuba and snorkeling based programmes in hopes that they will develop a keen interest in the sea, conservation, and a brighter future for all of us. We would like to hear from charter vessel masters interested in volunteering thier boat for a day to take these groups out to the ocean (Mayor/Motiti Islands) so the kids can get a better picture of our local waters.
