WEATHER - DIVE REPORT FOR 26/08/10

Hey Guys,
The weather for the following week looks fairly untidy for a change. Allot of rain ahead. Most of the wind looks to come from the Northwest until later on Sunday. Be wary of the forecasted winds as the weather system is pretty messy and the strength of the wind will change a bit during the day. Most of the swell should come from the Northeast and hopefully stay around or under 1m.

WEATHER - DIVE UP-DATE FOR 19/08/10

Hey Guys,

The weather for the following week looks kind of average, allot of wind from the western region throughout the weekend. The swell that is forecasted shouldn’t stay around to long but the winds are going to make things uncomfortable. Tuesday looks like the only decent day before we get hammered again next Wednesday.

WEATHER - DIVE REPORT FOR 12/08/10

Hey Guys,

The weather for the following week looks terrible. A fairly foul looking weather system is supposed to arrive late this afternoon bringing allot of wind from the North and rain from Tomorrow through to next week. The only day that may be any good for a dive is Tuesday and that looks average as well.

WEATHER UP-DATE FOR 5/08/10

Hey Guys,
A fairly brief report for the following week. Fridays forecast doesn’t look to bad but there’s still a 1.8m swell out there at the moment so I’m not convinced its going to be as good as they are predicting, as for the weekend it looks absolute custard and Tuesday may bring a glimmer of hope for next week. The temperature is 14.2 degrees at Pukahina.

WEATHER - DIVE UP-DATE FOR 29/07/10

Hey Guys,

The weather for the following week looks good until around lunch time Sunday. There’s a nice high positioned over us at the moment and the seas should be great for diving Friday and Saturday also Tuesday looks good for a splash at this stage if the swell drops off.

Charter and Dive Update

Hey Guys,

The weather for the following week doesn't look too bad. There is rain forecast but it doesn't look to be too heavy and theres not a lot of wind attached to it. There is a 2m swell out there at the moment and a weak low pressure system that moves away late Saturday so Sunday and Monday are going to be your best days to get out there.

WEATHER - DIVE UP DATE FOR 15/07/10

Hey Guys,

The weather for the following week doesn’t look so great. There is a 2m swell at present with some SW winds predicted. With any luck the wind may settle the swell down on Sunday, but it still looks a little messy with a weak low approaching that’s going to bring showers.

WEATHER - DIVE UP - DATE FOR 24/06/10

Hey Guys,

Well I just got back from a fishing charter and the predicted 15 knots was actually 35 knots plus. Sweet Jesus it was rough. Jim Hiki can kiss my #$@@#$ arse! Had a good dive at Karewa yesterday though, Still allot of fish under the water and managed to grab a real nice cray even thought I wasn’t looking. Visibility was crap but I can always find interesting terrain at karewa.
